Test Pattern #32: Battle Victorious
By Slobokan | July 5, 2007
Two weeks ago, the American people won a significant battle. The battle did not occur far away in the poppy fields of Afghanistan, nor in the outskirts of Baghdad, Iraq. The battle took place right here on our own soil, the last place we should ever be forced to defend our rights as American citizens. The battle pitted the American people against their own politicians.
On Thursday, June 28th, 53 Senators finally came to their senses and voted against cloture on the “Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007″, also known as the Amnesty Bill. It was a great victory for the American people, and for the political process as a whole, but it didn’t start out that way.
The theme music for Test Pattern is “Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 2 K211 (Rondeau_ Allegro)” by Shlomo Mintz from the album, “CD1 Mozart - The Violin Concertos“. As usual, all of our music is courtesy of Magnatune.
