Information Salad: Episode #36
By Slobokan | March 30, 2007
We took a week off to relax and catch our breath, but this week we are back better than ever with lots of geek talk, tv talk, and pet food news.
- Vinny has migrated to Movable Type and talks about why he switched. Welcome to the dark side.
- Ecto 2.3 was also released.
- ScribeFire 1.4.0.1 was released this week.
- Vinny talks about the return of Six Degrees and his celebrity sighting.
- First they announced the pet food recall, then Menu Foods told us there was no signs of contamination, two days later they announced they found rat poison in their samples. This week, they expanded the recall, people got sick, the FDA found melamine, and they expanded the recall again.
- If it’s not going to affect your run for President, why announce your wife’s breast cancer has returned? Then, later in the week, it all made sense.
- Heroes hasn’t returned yet. The “Too Hot To Handle” gals finished first two weeks in a row on The Amazing Race. On The Apprentice, Angela got fired. American Idol is still a joke. They mixed things up on Survivor, maybe that will spice things up.
