Don’t you just hate homeowners associations?
Homeowner associations have been around since the 1800’s but they really came into their own in the 1980’s and 1990’s. Nearly 51 million Americans now live within a community with a homeowners association. These associations can hold meetings, vote in closed sessions, impose fees and enforce the rules and convenants of the association. Most pople don’t realize that the covenants are legally binding no matter how frivolous they sound.
These homeowners associations are only as good or as bad as those who run them. If you have good people running your association, things can be very good, but if you have morons running it, life can be a living hell.
The theme music for Test Pattern is “Concerto for Violin and Orchestra No. 2 K211 (Rondeau_ Allegro)” by Shlomo Mintz from the album, “CD1 Mozart - The Violin Concertos“. As usual, all of our music is courtesy of Magnatune.
